James “Jim” Bright, age 79, of Canal Winchester, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born December 14, 1941 in Lancaster to the late Homer E. and Dorothy B. (Stalder) Bright. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Bowling Green University. He was retired from State Farm Insurance with 40 years of service, was a member of Faith Life Church in New Albany, and formerly attended World Harvest Church for 33 years.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Bright; daughters, Cheryl Bright, Columbus, and Amy (Ryan) Miller, Upper Arlington; grandsons, Connor & Evan Miller; sister, Dee (Don) Dupler, Carroll; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit 4-7 pm Wednesday, December 8 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, December 9 with Elder Bill Canfield officiating. Private interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
